Boot Polishing Guide

You will need:Boot polishing

  • Pot o’ shoe polish (Kiwi Black Shoe Polish)
  • Smaller ‘on’ brush
  • Larger ‘off’ brush
  • Black boots

Step 1: Make sure the boot is clean.

Step 2: Drag the ‘on’ brush through the polish, but make sure you don’t use toooo much.

Step 3: Rub the brush over the entire of the boot, applying an even layer of polish.

Step 4: Using the larger, clean, ‘off’ brush, with no polish on, rub over the entirety of the boot again. Be quite vigorous to being out a slight shine from the polish.

Step 5: Go back to step 2. Repeat until you are satisfied.

Remember as long as your boots are clean, black and reasonably shiny it’s all good. If your boots are too shiny, like mirrors, it defies the point of wearing DPM clothing. “Hey look, the side of that tree has some damn shiny boots on.”
